    The University of Nebraska at Omaha will host the 2005 North Central Conference Swimming and Diving Championships on Feb. 16-19 at UNO's HPER Building Swimming Pool. This will mark the first time the Mavericks have hosted the NCC Meet. Eight women's teams and six men's teams will compete in the four-day meet.

    The following women's teams will compete::
    Colorado School of Mines
    Metro State College of Denver
    Minnesota State University, Mankato
    Minnesota State University, Moorhead
    St. Cloud State University
    University of South Dakota
    University of Nebraska at Omaha
    University of North Dakota

    The following men's teams will compete:

    University of South Dakota
    University of North Dakota



    Located in the heart of the city, the University of Nebraska at Omaha, founded in 1908, has excelled both academically and athletically. A member of the North Central Conference since 1977, UNO has established itself as one of the most elite athletic programs in Division II, winning 44 NCC titles and 4 NCAA Division II titles. UNO fielded a Division I hockey team in 1997 before joining the Central Collegiate Hockey Association in the 1999-2000 season. The University of Nebraska at Omaha is proud to host the 2005 North Central Conference Swimming and Diving Championships.
