Exciting News Announcement

CHALLENGE GRANT

The Diet Pepsi/UNO Women's Walk has been offered a wonderful opportunity through the Peter Kiewit Foundation. We have been offered a Challenge Grant. The Peter Kiewit Foundation will contribute $1.00 for every $3.00 (1:3 ratio) collected by walkers up to the first $75,000 committed. In other words, Foundation will contribute $25,000 after our walkers/participants raise $75,000 in donations! This is an exceptional opportunity but there's more!

In a special category of participants, the Peter Kiewit Foundation will contribute an even match $1.00 for each $1.00 raised by any one 21years of age or under, up to $10,000! To qualify for this match, walkers must be 21 year of age of younger on April 19, 2008. When registering a walker under 21, we will need her/his date of birth to qualify for the grant.

This grant has the potential to raise an additional $35,000 but we need your help! We need you to (1) help us reach the first $75,000 in walker donation and (2) we need you to get your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, neighbors etc. involved with this year's Women's Walk.

We have great special prizes for our youth walkers and we encourage you to help us spread this message.
